ShoreTel today announced a deal worth €290,000 with Irish legal firm William Fry. The deal concerns the deployment of ShoreTel’s integrated unified communications solution in William Fry’s new offices in Grand Canal Square, Dublin, which was implemented by Phone Pulse.
The ShoreTel solution will save William Fry upwards of €16,000 each year through its unified communications features including IM, call visibility and mobile app integration. Cost savings will also result from the removal of the legal firm’s old PBX system and introduction of local call rates between the US and Ireland. Other benefits include full integration with other systems in place such as Citrix, increased productivity, remote login, audio conferencing and VoIP over Wi-Fi.
Speaking about the announcement, Michael Devitt, IT director, William Fry said: “ShoreTel is easy to use, which is critical as our teams need to be focussed on matters of law and our clients, not on our communications system. The ability to communicate in the lifeblood of our business and failure to do so or challenges in doing so would damage our reputation and our clients’ confidence.
“As a provider, Phone Pulse gave excellent support during what was a very big move for William Fry. They tested the ShoreTel solution in a matter of days and completed the rollout, which included 425 new phones, in just a few weeks.”
Barry Dillon, regional sales director, Ireland, Middle East and Nordic regions, ShoreTel said: “ShoreTel has a deep understanding of how legal firms need to work. Lawyers need to have access to the right information wherever they are and however they’re working, so they can respond to client needs. We’re delighted William Fry has selected the ShoreTel solution and that the experience has been so positive.”
