KoreSummit- Educating business owners on raising capital

On 07 October 2020, KoreSummit will be hosting a virtual event that aims to educate business owners on how to raise capital for their company. The event has been held for 2 years, and with COVID- 19 halting economies on a global scale, education on commerce is needed more than ever.

I spoke with Danielle Higgins, a co-ordinator of the event, about what KoreSummit hopes to achieve through this webinar.

KoreSummit: Educating the modern business landscape

Firstly we discussed where the inspiration for the event came from, and what people can get excited about:

“Our co-founders believe the key to growth in any market is Education and felt the industry was in need of an event like KoreSummit. There are many exciting aspects viewers can look forward to. For instance, Commissioner Peirce’s Fireside Chat with Sara Hanks, and the opening with David Weild IV the father of the Jobs Act”.

Before concluding, we spoke of the different opportunities that will be present for attendees, and how companies can prepare to get the most out of the experience.

For those attending, they will learn everything they need to prepare their companies to raise capital. We will have over 45+ speakers who are the top leaders in their field. Companies should be ready, and bring their entire team, as raising capital is a team sport and you need everyone on the same page”.
