When and where is it on?
The Kind Ads Virtual Summit will be streamed online, May 4th, 2018, from speakers all over the world, from Chicago to Kiev, from 6:00 a.m. PST to 3:30 p.m. PST.
How many years has it been going?
This is the first ever Kind Ads Virtual Summit.
What was the inspiration to start it?
Online advertising is broken in its current state. Advertisements are now poorly targeted poorly to unwanted demographics and have become ineffective for advertiser, publishers, readers, and app developers. The centralization of ads on Google and Facebook has given rise to annoying and intrusive ad experiences for readers, leading to ad blockers and poor ROI for advertisers and the publishers who use them to grow their businesses.
The founders of Kind Ads knew that there had to be a better way, and with the promising technology of blockchain cryptocurrency and cryptocurrencyblockchain, the decentralization of advertising was the natural progression to create a better advertising platform that serves user-friendly ads without taking any middleman fees. Not only do advertisers and publishers benefit with higher ROI in the Kind Ads ecosystem, but users who opt in for better-targeted advertising, and app developers that create better ad delivering technology will also be rewarded and incentivized to participate in reward pools for Kind Ads tokens.

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
Kind Ads’ goal is to improve how publishers, advertisers, users, and app partners interact with each other by creating a decentralized bridge to more effective advertising means. It is our aim to create a new, decentralized trust protocol where every participant is incentivized to participate in the Kind Ads ecosystem.
The Kind Ads Trust Protocol will offer a different advertising experience for users by using less obtrusive, quality-targeted advertising via push notifications, email and chat notifications. By using these proven techniques, Kind Ads will be able to evaluate, measure, and score publishers through our proprietary metrics measuring system (based on past Google scoring and future testing). This will allow advertisers to create less obtrusive ads for users, instead of having to rely solely on the poorly targeted ads Google and Facebook offers today.
