Colaiste Stiofain Naofa recently launched a new €65,000 custom – designed digital radio training studio, Juice FM 88.7MHz.
Juice FM 88.7 at CSN is Ireland’s largest digital I.P. broadcast training studio, and has exciting plans to bring together some of the best on-air talent in the region. The Juice FM studio has been custom designed by Course Director, Peter O’ Neill resulting in a state of the art radio studio. This technology and innovation is available to radio broadcasting students, broadcasters, student djs and of course the listeners, who can enjoy an eclectic mix of shows such as The Boost, Freshly Squeezed and The Juice Extract.
Using a Juice bar as the inspiration for this unique studio, Course director Peter O’Neill said, “The newly designed studio offers students hands-on experience with the latest technology in the industry in a sleek and stylish environment”.
Special guests at Juice FM included a live music performance by special guest, Christiana Underwood, who is a former student of our highly regarded Music Management programme at CSN, as well as former students from CSN’s hugely popular Radio Broadcasting Programme, who now work with award winning radio stations like iRadio, SPIN South West, Beat 102-103, and Radio Kerry.
