JBL GO 4, waterproof portable music speaker, reviewed

This product is small, light, with a big sound, and also fairly waterproof. Naturally none of our testers wanted to give it a really good dunking, but it does seem quite robust and good for usage at the beach. Unlike another device we have recently reviewed, this one really is quite light, and this product is also cheaper too. Naturally you might get what you pay for, but, among our testers at least, there is a good vibe towards JBL from previous products they have reviewed for us. In this context they are definitely giving this new release the thumbs up.

It is clearly an upgrade from the previous #3 version, and it seems like the focus is on giving the user a tougher and more durable product. This is a positive step, and does mean that it seems like you are getting a better, evolved product, rather than just the newest version of something. The controls are logical and easy to use, and the strap is helpful and useful in terms of preventing it falling or getting lost. Our reviewers enjoyed using it and are currently arguing over who gets to take it to the beach next, so that is always a good sign!
