Jacky Fox Appointed Managing Director of Accenture’s Security business in Ireland

Jacky Fox has been appointed managing director of Accenture Security in Ireland. As part of the Accenture executive management team, Jacky leads the firm’s security business in Ireland, helping clients build resilience from the inside out so they can confidently focus on innovation and growth.

Alastair Blair, senior country managing director, Accenture in Ireland commented: “With cyber security being critical for our clients, I am delighted to welcome Jacky Fox to Accenture as she takes the helm of our dedicated security practice. Jacky’s breadth of experience and her deep knowledge of the sector will further drive Accenture Security’s presence in the market, as we help our clients protect themselves against both sophisticated and unknown threats.”

Jacky joins Accenture with 20 years’ experience in technology and security, having advised leading Irish and international organisations on managing their cyber risk. In her most recent role at Deloitte she led the Irish Cyber Security and IT Forensic practice. Prior to that she worked with Dell as a senior security specialist providing end to end consulting to government and financial services clients.

Jacky was recently appointed as vice-chair for Cyber Ireland – a national cyber security cluster that provides a collective voice to represent the needs and challenges of the cyber security sector across the country. In 2018, she was awarded ‘Security Champion of the Year’ in Ireland for her contribution to the Irish security industry and her mentorship and encouragement of women in security.

Jacky holds an MSc in Digital Investigations and Forensic Computing and is a certified forensic analyst and industrial control systems professional. She lectures on the MSc in Cyber Security programme at University College Dublin and is an active researcher and publisher in the digital forensics and cyber com
