What is your background briefly?
I grew up in a large family in the state of Idaho, U.S.A. When I was in my teens we moved into a suburb of Boise, Idaho, where I began to more seriously turn to technology as more than just a gaming interest. It started out small with building and maintaining the website for my father’s business, but, after I started to see the challenges and technologies I could take on, I was hooked.
From backend to frontend, I have taken head-on many challenges. I’ve tackled applications ranging from a 3D interactive mobile application to background microservices. The last project that I was involved in was a project called Soliciti. It’s a sophisticated platform that has set out to make monitoring easy and make sense to the layman.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?
One of GoneTrippin’s goals is to help “Make Every Trip an Adventure”. To do so, we plan on and are in the works of building a set of sophisticated systems to support a new revolutionary travel experience. The goal is to remove the technical hurdle of traveling, particularly to local places and areas.
With these goals, there are many technical adventures that we have and will cross to achieve our goal. Utilizing my previous experience with mobile, web and backend systems, I have been with GoneTrippin as a founder and have lead the way in taking on the challenges of building the application.
Similarities constantly arise where my previous experience is drawn upon. Application scaling, security and other infrastructure designs are some of many specialties that are important complex designs to have already had experience in.
Give us a one-minute pitch for what you are doing now.
As the Vice President of Research and Development, I continue to lead the design and development of GoneTrippin’s application and accompanying ecosystem. These activities have included working with the Ethereum blockchain, designing complex solutions for our GoneTrippin ecosystem and working with the product manager to ensure that our application continues to move forward in the best direction. Architectural design, application development, product development and marketing related communications continue to be part of my endeavours.
Why did you get involved with this ICO?
As one of its founders, I was in on it from its groundbreaking. Blockchain technologies provide an opportunity to solve challenges facing travelers and small businesses in new and improved ways. By pursuing an ICO we can ensure we achieve all our goals and build a community of users(travelers) and providers(businesses) who benefit from each other through our ecosystem.
Why do you think it is such a powerful idea?
Current solutions are missing the mark in being a full trip planning experience while addressing users’ fears and other traveling hurdles. GoneTrippin is poised to fill this gap and lead the industry in its niched approach. GoneTrippin is also in the works of bringing cryptocurrency acceptance to small businesses. Most often, the big companies get to utilize the latest technologies first, but GoneTrippin is poised to bring the latest and greatest to the small businesses.
