When and where is it on?
Entrepreneurs Workshop is on April 15 in Limerick, Ireland
It is part of the IEEE World Forum of Internet of Things, April 15 – 18
How many years has it been going?
IEEE Conferences have been going on for many years. We do over 1,000 conferences and workshops each year. This is the 5th International IoT Conference
What was the inspiration to start it?
As the world’s largest professional organization, we do a lot of things in electro-technology, science, standards and more. We have engineering members all over Ireland and the world. The Irish Section is hosting this conference.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
This is not a Trade Show. This is a technical conference with a lot of papers and tech stuff. The audience will meet the IoT people that are changing the world. You will go home with new knowledge that you can build a career and hopefully a new company with.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
Learning and networking with people that set the standard for IoT.
Who will be speaking?
See the program at http://wfiot2019.iot.ieee.org/ More people are added every day.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Network. Bring lots of Business Cards. This is not a one time conference. You will be invited to join our Network that will last long after the conference.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
The conference web site is open at http://wfiot2019.iot.ieee.org/ We usually hit 1,000 attendees over the course of the week.
