Raising the bar on Dublin office design, early innovators Iconic Offices have announced their latest flexible workspace location is registered to pursue WELL Certification under WELL v2, a building standard that represents the future of office design. This exclusive project will propel Iconic Offices to deliver the first WELL v2 Certified flexible workspace in Europe.
Iconic Offices, Ireland’s leading flexible workspace provider, today announced they are set to open a brand new ‘Grade A’ office building occupying a prime city centre location on the corner of South Richmond and Lennox Street in Dublin 2. Sited within close proximity to highly established office districts such as Hatch Street and Harcourt Street, Iconic has invested c.€3.5 million into The Lennox Building, boasting a premium office design akin to a five-star boutique hotel. Iconic are proud to bring this exclusive commercial property to the Dublin market, increasing their portfolio to a notable sixteen CBD locations.
Revolutionising the Future of Work:
In the last 20 years, the modern office has undergone numerous evolutions. The early 2000s saw the demise of mass cubicles and the rise of open floorplans, while 2016 brought waves of foosball and ping pong tables to tech offices everywhere. Although office design trends come and go, one thing that won’t change is the impact the office environment has on employee health and well-being.
With this front of mind, The Lennox Building is going one step further, and pursuing The WELL Building Standard under WELL v2, placing the well-being and productivity of its members at the heart of the design. WELL v2 is the world’s first building standard that focuses on advancing health and wellness experiences in buildings globally, creating spaces where people are happier, healthier and more productive.
The finishes, fittings and design approach are all carefully aligned with Iconic Offices’ WELL Building Standard targets, and the fit-out is designed to achieve WELL Certification to meet health and wellness goals. Upon completion, this Iconic Offices project is set to be the first WELL v2 Certified flexible workspace in Ireland and one of the first of its kind in Europe.
Founder & CEO, Joe McGinley said of the announcement this morning:
“We are always looking to improve and excel when it comes to the workspaces we deliver to the market for our members. Our latest 2019 properties are taking Iconic Offices product to another level, with The Lennox Building being unique in both function and design. The building will literally perform for its occupants, providing a comprehensive range of first-class amenities any business could require.”
Design Approach:
Iconic Office’s level of commitment to provide exclusive custom design features is at the heart of The Lennox Building. With interiors akin to a luxe boutique hotel, the design approach for The Lennox was to maximise the great city views and to create an interior that is eclectic, striking, glamorous and a one-of-a-kind experience where contemporary urban design meets roaring 1920s glamour.
Lying behind the sleek black monochromatic exterior is an abundance of luxurious statement furnishings. The lobby is defined by a stunning bespoke brass and crystal chandelier, creating a captivating and atmospheric entrance. While acting as the key feature to the reception lounge on the first floor, is a five-metre Cherry Blossom tree sitting front and centre of the full height curved corner glazed window.
First-Class Amenities:
At The Lennox Building, the premium workspace will be supported by premium services. Spanning c.27,000sq ft over five floors, this exceptional Grade A property will house up to 350 workstations. Comprising of premium private office and coworking spaces, clients will also be supported by first-class amenities including a 2,000 sq ft outdoor rooftop terrace with expansive views of the city; this space will accommodate wellness and events programmes providing facilities such as Yoga, Pilates and Meditation.
Other first-class facilities in the pipeline include a modern conference centre (spp) with large multifunction event spaces, large meeting rooms, break out spaces, onsite catering and a dedicated Iconic events support team. Furthermore, there are also plans for a new and exciting restaurant on the ground floor operated by Press Up Entertainment.
The Lennox Building will open its doors in August 2019 and can accommodate an individual freelancer up to a team of 350 on flexible terms from one month upwards.
