Iconic Offices announce COVID-19 Response Action Plan ahead of Phase Two

Iconic Offices have set a high bar for protecting the health and safety of staff and clients as they announce their Covid-19 response action plan, proposing new floor layouts, adding sanitising capabilities, thermal camera checks, shifting office traffic flows and providing health packs for over 2,200+ members and staff.

As Phase Two of lockdown sets to lift on June 8th and people begin to head back to work, flexible workspace provider, Iconic Offices today announced the major changes they are making to their spaces to ensure a safer return to work for their staff and clients. Adapting to an ever-changing environment and readjusting for the future, Iconic has invested heavily into the well-being of their community with the rollout of their Covid-19 response action plan to fully support companies with their move back to the office and creating a safer workspace for everyone.

Eoin Joy, Chief Property Officer at Iconic Offices said:

“All of our COVID-19 response protocols and systems are designed and implemented to help protect our members from the moment they enter the workspace. These have been carefully implemented across all of our locations, with each step of the process further supporting our drive to put the safety of our clients first, ensuring a positive client experience for our members.”

COVID-19 Response Action Plan

The comprehensive COVID-19 response action plan not only addresses the safety measures required as per the government guidelines, but it also provides a huge benefit for their clients as it relieves companies of the time, stress, and added overheads they would have otherwise had to incur if leasing a traditional office space.

Some of the new measures taken include thermal cameras designed to detect elevated skin-surface temperature, barrier/queue systems to avoid ‘bottlenecks’, hand sanitising stations throughout every building, screens at reception to protect staff and guests, as well as health packs for c.2,200 clients and staff, containing a reusable face covering, disposable gloves, a contact-free door opener and personal hand sanitiser.

Amy Connaughton, Chief Operations Officer at Iconic Offices says of the response action plan:

“It has always been part of our ethos to take the pain out of running and sustaining a workspace for our clients, by taking care of the day to day for them.  We believe that our commitment to our COVID-19 response action plan only further supports that, addressing the safety measures required, and beyond, enabling us to take that worry and investment burden away from our clients during these unprecedented times.”

Future of Health & Wellness within Office Design

Furthermore, Iconic Offices announced today that their state-of-the-art flexible workspace location, The Lennox Building, has been formally awarded the prestigious WELL v2 Certification by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the world’s leading certification body for healthy buildings. Representing the future of health and wellness within office design, this project has propelled them to deliver the first WELL v2 Certified flexible workspace in Europe and one of the few select certified flexible workspaces in the world.

WELL is the premier building standard to focus on enhancing people’s health and wellness through the buildings where they live, work and play. Created through seven years of rigorous research and development working with leading physicians, scientists, and industry professionals, the WELL Building Standard is a performance-based certification system that marries best practices in design and construction with evidence-based scientific research. The Lennox Building earned the distinction based on ten categories of building performance — Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community — and achieved a WELL v2 level rating.

Founder & CEO, Joe McGinley said of the announcement this morning:

When we designed The Lennox Building, we made a commitment to wellness as a core part of the design, and it’s great to see all the hard work come to fruition. Receiving the official WELL Certification by the IWBI, now more than ever underpins our vision to create safer and healthier working environments for our members. There is a greater emphasis on well-being generally and this certification further supports Iconic Offices commitment in this regard.”
