HTC have taken the wraps off the latest version of their flagship ‘One’ range. True to all the recent leaks, the new standout feature here is the 20MP rear camera which replaces the ‘UltraPixel’ sensor seen in previous models.

The ‘UltraPixel’ sensor now finds its way to the front of device where its abilities are probably better suited. Also present is the dual front facing HTC ‘BoomSound’ speakers which now come with Dolby simulated surround sound.

The all metal body now comes in a two tone finish with the traditional polished silver colour back now contrasted with ‘Rose Gold’ coloured sides.

The phone will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with the new ‘HTC Sense 7’ overlayed.

Other key features include:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor (4 x 2Ghz, 4 x 1.5Ghz)
  • 5″ 1080p display
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB Storage
  • MicroSD expandable up to 128GB
  • 2840mAh Battery
  • 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.61 mm
  • 157g

The HTC One M9 will be available in dual-tone silver and rose gold, single-tone gunmetal grey and single-tone gold in Ireland.
Handsets will be available to pre-order from 16th March and available to buy in-store from 31st March, as well as at htc.com/ie.
Unlocked and Developer Editions of the HTC One M9 will also be available from via htc.com.
