1 min pitch for what you are doing now?
I am the deputy general manager of Banque Casino. Banque Casino facilitates consumption through innovative payment solutions. We are leader in France for installment payment with major partners such as Cdiscount, Misterfly, Oscaro etc…We also offer consumer loans, credit cards and insurances. In 2017, we were the first company to launch a mini instant loan called “Coup de Pouce”. This instant loan is now available in some fintech apps such as Lydia or Bankin. What is very specific to Banque Casino is the fact that :
–We have a UX first and consumer first approach.
-We constantly challenge ourselves, look for new opportunities.
How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?
Last year was an excellent year for Banque Casino with a strong growth of our activities. We launched our instant loan within Lydia App, we also built key partnerships for installment payment with Pierre et Vacances, Maeva, Cdiscount Voyages etc…
We would have liked to move even faster in building new strategic partnerships to remain one step ahead from our competitors but also to expand further our presence in the fintech ecosystem.
How to innovate through partnerships with Fintechs, Marc Lanvin
What are your plans for the future?
For the past 2 years we have experienced a growth of more than 30% and we intend to maintain that trend in 2020. In that context, one of our major challenges will be to launch our products on the international scene.

What will you be talking about at this event?
In 2012, we took a big strategic decision by going from a street bank (with branches next to Casino supermarkets) to a 100% digital bank. We were one the first to go into mobile and during that event I will share how we continue to innovate through our partnerships with Fintechs.
What inspired you to attend it?
We are based in Bordeaux where we are working closely with Cdiscount. We like to support regional events because they create dynamism and develop the attractiveness around our region
We are also a key partner of Lydia, Bankin and LyfPay and we want to be identified as a key strategic partner for Fintechs.
Fin&Tech Summit reaffirms its strong support for innovation. During the different meetings, experts will go head to head with specialists, influencers and disruptors.
Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?
Of course I follow the leaders from major groups such as Apple, Amazon, Cdiscount, Paypal, Lydia…
I keep myself aware of business and fintech news thanks to twitter and an internet watch.
