Granite Digital, Ireland’s leading full-service digital agency, has announced that it has become the first Umbraco Gold Partner in Ireland. Granite Digital expects to generate €1 million in new revenue over the next 18 months from its partnership with the content management system (CMS) provider.
Umbraco is the most popular and fastest growing Microsoft .NET-based CMS, which allows businesses to easily create and manage their website. Umbraco is used as the basis for more than 500,000 active websites across the globe, including web projects for global enterprises such as Amazon, Microsoft, McDonald’s, Carlsberg Group and JP Morgan.
Granite Digital invested €100,000 in staff training, new technology, and research and development to achieve its Umbraco Gold Partner status – the highest level of partnership possible. This equips the Granite Digital team with all the required expertise and skills to implement high-performing websites on the Umbraco platform.
Granite Digital employs more than 60 professionals across its Dublin, Cork and Galway offices. It is already rolling out implementations of the CMS software to a number of its customers, who will benefit from a full suite of digital features, a robust and scalable platform, and an improved user experience.
Commenting on the achievement, Conor Buckley, CEO, Granite Digital, said: “We pride ourselves on our ability to enable digital transformation for our customers through simple to use and beautifully designed websites. .NET is one of the best and most common website platforms, so it was essential that we could provide a suitable enterprise solution with a full suite of features. After researching the options in the market, Umbraco stood out as a truly transformative option.
“Umbraco provides us with top class support and advice, meaning our team is always up-to-date on the latest developments and knowledge so we can implement best-in-class solutions for our customers. We really try to make the user experience a differentiating factor for our customers, and with the tools and support from Umbraco, we can now simplify the user journey and design websites that work incredibly efficiently and effectively.”
A podcast interview with Kim Sneum Madsen, Global CEO at Umbraco will be published next week.
