Leading technology companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google and E-commerce Expo Ireland, jewellery multi-channel retailer Argento and luxury clothing brand, Magee 1866 will be participating in a free to attend event in Dublin aimed at highlighting the growth challenges facing Irish e-commerce businesses.
The Irish E-commerce Landscape in 2018 event is being hosted on Thursday 1 February by IRP Commerce whose e-commerce platform, the IRP, has transacted in excess of €1 billion in e-commerce sales and has transformed the online fortunes of many of Ireland’s best-known companies.
There will be presentations on key trends for 2018, the need for Irish businesses to internationalise their offering, how best to leverage various marketing channels, the importance of understanding customers and how to get the most out of an e-commerce platform.
Sean Casey of Amazon Pay, who will be speaking at the event said, “Amazon Pay partnered with IRP in 2017 to help their merchants to better engage with the Amazon customer directly on their sites. In 2018 we are very excited to broaden that relationship and help more merchants, here in Ireland and around the world, to reach their customers wherever they may be.”
Aimed at business owners, e-commerce managers, digital marketing managers and financial directors, this event will provide all the key components for a comprehensive strategy for online success.
Daniel Loughlin of IRP Commerce who is inspired by the opportunity to bring the key players together said, “The opportunity to sell internationally is one that Irish businesses need to master technically to achieve long-term success. Having the right tools and partners is essential and this event will showcase the size of the opportunity that still exists in the e-commerce sphere.”
