By Zeph Faulkner, review of Gigantic closed beta, a free-to-play shooter MOBA where heroes battle alongside a massive guardian in a fight for supremacy. ESRB Rating: TEEN with Blood, Violence.
Gigantic is a game made by Motiga a Seattle-area independent game studio. The aim of the game is simple, two teams of five aim to destroy the enemies guardian, one of two gigantic creatures on both ends of the map. How you do this is simple. To get your guardian to attack you need to score points which are gained by killing the other team , destroying the other teams creatures. To learn the basics watch this.
Here are some of the things I liked.
The characters available are diverse. Few characters play the same, each character has widely different abilities. for example one has a medium ranged teleport to get out of trouble or move next to the enemy guardian. Another has the ability to launch a swarm of missiles at a chosen target. It’s also good because the maps encourage movement and stop people camping in one spot.
The #GoGigantic Open Beta is now live 24/7 on Windows 10 and Xbox One! Play FREE! https://t.co/cANvFkDnz4 pic.twitter.com/IAbnFPOMjE

This could be a success due to the fact that it is fun and that it is following on from were other games left off, in terms of arena combat and team playing. This game would appeal to ages 12 and up.
