When is it on?

The workshop is being held in the Westbury Hotel on the 23rd November from 0815 to 11.30. Breakfast is included.

How many years has it been going?

Trilogy Technologies holds a number of workshops throughout the year. This is the second to specifically address GDPR but the first held in conjunction with law firm Whitney Moore. The combined effect will help frame the attendees’ thinking in relation to both the legal process and IT requirements involved in GDPR compliance.

What was the inspiration to start it?

GDPR is a big issue that most businesses are now aware of. The compliance deadline is only 6 months away yet there are still a large number of companies which have done nothing. A big reason for this is because companies don’t even know where to start. This workshop gives them the first steps.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

The event is co-sponsored by Whitney Moore, a law firm. Emma Richmond, a partner there will provide practical steps to ensure legal compliance with GDPR to take businesses through the legal aspects on a step by step basis.

What opportunities are on offer for people / startups / investors and companies attending?

Startups and other companies know GDPR is coming and that it affects them. But most really don’t know where to start. This event will them understand the ways in which GDPR will affect their business and the steps to take to become GDPR ready from a legal and a technology perspective.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

Come early, the breakfast is delicious!

How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?

The event is free however places are limited so early registration is recommended via the event website.
