When is it on?: July 31 – August 1
How many years has it been going?: This is the second year.
What was the inspiration to start it?: Members of the community and summit PTTOW! had requested an event where they could bring more members of their team to grow and develop, so the creators behind PTTOW! created WORLDZ to fill that void. The goal is to combine the stars of today with the rising stars of tomorrow.
What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2017 version? Who will be speaking etc? Full details for what people can look forward to and the speakers can be found on our assets page, but there will be mainstage keynotes, curated one-on-ones, workshops, experiential activations and more. Some highlights on the speaker front include Shaun White, Gary Vaynerchuk, John Amato, Sophia Amoruso, Steve Clayton, Alexis Ohanian, and much more.
What is your own background and your interests? I am a publicist for WORLDZ, and am helping them bring media attention to the event. I work with events, festivals, and companies from across the world.
What opportunities are on offer for (startups) and companies attending your event? Unlike many events where guests sit back and listen to talks, this event is much more interactive with hands-on workshops and curriculum that are meant to create growth within teams, and also a chance to create positive change with the others around.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it? Attend with an open mind and the desire to get involved, not just sit back and listen. Use this as a time to both grow your business or startup, and also a time for personal growth.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out? People can apply to attend here. So it’s less of a sell out date, and more determining the people that will make sense to join the event.
Further Information: The event will bring creators and innovators from a variety of fields (music, tech, entertainment, fashion, action sports, social impact, luxury automotive, future transportation, music streaming, and much more), so there is something for everyone.
