For the League of Legends gamers in your life, this could be a great birthday or Christmas present.
As a branded merchandise strategy, this makes sense, the products are solid, strong and durable, made for repetitive typing and gaming related actions. The livery is fun, colourful and all aligned with the relevant game, League of Legends in this case. You wonder if this is the beginning of many similar products to come. It would be cool perhaps if you could even personalise products like this to an even more unique and specific degree. It could be fun to have an R2D2 skin for your keyboard and mouse perhaps.
We set our in-house younger gamers loose on the products and they were happy with them. The keyboard worked well, and was popular, the mouse was intuitive and quick to use too. The challenge will then be to keep them away from prying eyes until the relevant gamer in the house perhaps gets a delivery from Santa later in the year. Logitech remain active and interesting to watch in terms of the products they are creating.
