Greetings from Afforestt!

On 31st December 2019, we will be completing 9 years since we started our journey in the world of forest-creation. In these 9 years, we have worked hard to improve and document our methodology. We openly share the methodology, and people from different parts of the world have used it successfully to make their own forests.

We have been conducting Forest Creation Workshops to help people get practically involved in the process of making forests and learn the methodology better. We have conducted similar on-site trainings in different parts of the world including Netherlands, Nicaragua, United States of America, Lebanon, and India to name few.

Our next workshop will be organized in February 2020. We are fortunate to have renowned forest conservationist and wildlife protector Belinda Wright as the host of this workshop. The workshop will be conducted at the Kipling Camp, run by Belinda and her team.

Highlights of the workshop include:

Creation of a tiny forest in the buffer zone of Kanha National Park using the Miyawaki method.

Learning and practicing natural methods of restoring soil health.
Sessions on wildlife conservation with Belinda and her WPSI team.

Studying the Potential Native Vegetation (PNV) of Kanha.

Learning how to adapt the Miyawaki method to any new geography, climate or soil-type.

An opportunity to stay at Kipling Camp which is located on the edge of Kanha National Park.

Our workshops are interactive, experiential and hands-on, and they help people learn how to create their own forests. Please share this email with people in your network who you think would like to live close to nature and learn how to create forests.
