Exit-Entry is an Irish mobile app designed to help students discover their next opportunity. The app, which was created to help students connect with courses and employers.

The app was launched in late 2019, with over 20,000 students using the service to date.

Exit-Entry: How does it work for students?

By taking two short assessments, which take approximately 10 minutes each, students can discover more about their own personal profile.

With over 60 years of scientific research behind these assessments, the app helps to match students with potential opportunities using their interests and skills.

For school students, the app will suggest third-level courses that suit the students’ profile.

There is also a dedicated Transition Year section for students looking for work experience and other activities.

For college students, the app will link students with job opportunities.

Lewize Crothers, from Co. Meath, is the inspirational founder and CEO of Exit-Entry. Lewize said:

“I returned to university in 2016 to study Innovation and Design Thinking at UCD. It was during my search for the right course option that I discovered that access to information for students had not changed in over 20 years.

This deeply affected me as a massive cohort of students, mainly from lower socio-economic groups were being disenfranchised. Not only that, everything was being driven by grades – yet students are far more than just grades.

As a mother of three boys and having previously worked in project management, design, and with children from lower socio-economic groups, my passion to right this wrong was huge.

I spent the next year in UCD researching the market. I quickly realised that this was a global problem, so I needed to build a world-class team to solve it.

I am incredibly fortunate to have a team of amazing people who all deeply believe in our shared vision, which is ‘Creating Opportunities For Everyone”.

This September, Exit-Entry is offering an amazing prize to one lucky student.

The winner of the competition, running until Monday 31st August, will receive €10,000* worth of student accommodation, starting this September 2020.

To enter, students must download the Exit-Entry app, click on the competition (TY page for school students and Opportunity page for college students) and follow the instructions.

Keep an eye out for more upcoming Exit-Entry competitions and the first official ‘Exit-Entry Week’ launching this September.

Students can download the Exit-Entry App now on the App Store or the Google Play Store.

The Exit-Entry app is a free tool, as the team believes that every student deserves equal access to career information and opportunities.
