Evros Technology Group acquire Inspired SS

Evros Technology Group, the leading Irish provider of systems integration, Cloud Solutions and IT managed services, today announced that it has acquired Inspired Software & Services, an Irish based firm specialising in SharePoint, Cloud consulting, migration services, Office 365 productivity, infrastructure modernization and custom development.

The full Inspired SS team of 18 consultants will join the Evros Technology Group at its expanded Cherrywood HQ and continue to trade under the established Inspired brand, complementing Evros’ existing managed services, itContracting (Technology Staffing) and Digital Planet (Enterprise Cloud Computing) offerings.

This deal is the latest in Evros’ growth by acquisition strategy, which has seen rapid Group expansion over the past six years, through the integration of Cloud Technologies and total outsourced IT service solutions to its long established managed services offering.

The Inspired SS acquisition will enable the Group to offer an advanced Microsoft Cloud capability in-house, bolstering its existing Microsoft practice and extending its team to over 300 consultants, including Inspired SS experts in complex cloud migration strategy for enterprise, government and education organisations.

Announcing the acquisition, Evros Technology Group Managing Director, Brian Larkin, said: ‘Evros is committed to continued investment in innovative services and the Inspired SS acquisition will significantly expand our Microsoft capabilities, enabling the Group to offer clients end-to-end Microsoft solutions in-house including a full cloud strategy. We have always been advocates of fresh thinking and taking a flexible approach to the delivery of IT services and this investment to acquire Inspired SS and its great people reaffirms that guiding principle. With this exciting new offering and expertise, the Group will continue to flourish.’

Inspired SS Managing Director, Will Connor, who will continue to lead the practice supported by Keith McHale, Inspired Cloud Services Director, added: ‘Since we were established in 2008, our goal has always been to help businesses across the UK and Ireland become more efficient by harnessing the power of Microsoft Technologies. We are delighted to join the Evros Technology Group, and offer our expertise to an expanded client base as well as exploit opportunities to cross-sell integrated solutions with complementary Group practices. The Evros Technology Group has a 25-year history of innovation and has grown particularly strongly in recent years due to its commitment to cloud technologies, making it an ideal fit for us. Supported by the Evros Group, Inspired SS will continue to deliver excellent service for its customers and grow into the future’.
