RTÉ Mojocon has announced a range of live streaming innovations – including a European exclusive – for this year’s three-day conference in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Galway from Thursday 4th – Saturday 6th May.
Live streaming innovation at RTÉ Mojocon:
– 360 Live Talkshow: RTÉ Mojocon will feature a ‘European first’ as the Insta360 Pro 8k camera – a world leader in 360-degree cameras – makes its European debut by live-streaming a 360 Talkshow on Youtube (Mojo Conf). Hosted by panel moderators, the RTÉ Mojocon Insta360 Pro Talkshows will deliver full, immersive, live experiences on the Youtube 360 platform over the three days of the conference.
– ‘Live Show’, sponsored by Teradek: Following last year’s success, Teradek – makers of professional live streaming solutions and wireless video devices – will again live stream their “Live Show” on Thursday and Friday, bringing exclusive interviews with speakers, guests and exhibitors to the online audience. This live stream will also be available on the RTÉ ‘Mojo Conf’ Youtube channel and via a dedicated webpage on rte.ie.
In keeping with the true spirit of RTÉ Mojocon as a mobile content creation event, Teradek’s production will harness its “Live:Air” multi-camera switching and live-streaming app for iPad to drive the live show. All 4 cameras will be iPhones running Teradek’s remote camera application and using Exolens | Zeiss iPhone lens system to complete the setup.
– Exhibitor Pitches (Facebook Live): Last but not least and specially designed for the Facebook mojo community, RTÉ mojocon will live stream each of the 20 minute exhibitor product pitches from the Exhibitors Stage via Facebook Live to the RTÉ Mojocon Facebook Group (2700 members).
RTÉ Mojocon has announced details of Mojocon Fringe, a series of free events in Galway city centre at 7.30pm on Thursday 4th May, designed to bring mobile journalism (mojo) to a broader community. All fringe events feature RTÉ Mojocon speakers and are free of charge. Details can be found at https://mojocon.rte.ie/.
