Ergo M575 Wireless Trackball, reviewed

We look at the new Ergo M575 Wireless Trackball mouse, created by Logitech, one in a series of new ergonomic mouses?, mice? – what do you call a collection of computer mice?

Ergo M575 Wireless Trackball, reviewed

This product is designed to be more user friendly and to help with wrist repetitive strain issues among other possible issues. It has a nice look and feel and does a lot right. Road testing it in the office, where we have two left handed people it quickly popped up that this is all well and good it is made for right handed people. Looking at the publicity photo too it is clearly a right handed person using the device too.

Which does make you wonder if all versions of the mouse are for right handed people only? Often as a left handed person you just have to adapt and use the tools as they have been made, so it might not be a huge impediment but it would be interesting to at least see what left handed versions look like.

Overall the product works well, and the biggest question, apart from left handed options might be what do you can a multiple of mouse(s)? Overall the office’s verdict was positive and they enjoyed using it, especially for design related activities.
