One of the easiest ways to raise money for a startup or a company that plans to produce a new product is via an online crowdfunding platform such as Kickstarter or Indiegogo. By using these platforms you raise enough money to expand your business or develop and produce a new product, and anyone who gives money to these fundraising campaigns will get certain benefits depending on the amount of money they give.

One company that is using an online crowdfunding platform is PsycApps whose aim is to make dealing with mental health fun and their CEO and founder is Silja Litvin. So how do Silja and her team at PsyvApps plan to do this? They want you to be able to go through life with a smile on your face by playing a game that boosts your EQ giving you the extra little push that you might need.

This game is called eQuoo, and it is an emotional fitness game which helps you level up in life by teaching you impactful psychological skills.

PsycApps is developing eQuoo with Collision Studios, who have helped develop the Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead games. At the moment eQuoo is beta testing in Australia and New Zealand, but it will be launching later this year with new features including AI.

If you are interested in finding out more about eQuoo and possibly investing, please visit their Indiegogo webpage or listen to Silja on the latest Irish Tech News podcast.
