How many years has this been going on?

This will be the 6th year.

What was the inspiration to start it?

To make money! However, the better answer for your readers – to educate and entertain energy end users.

What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2017 version?

We will be inviting a Minister from BEIS to come speak. We have had Ed Davey and Andrea Leadsom in the past. We may do a CEOs panel – we have had the CEOs of SSE, British Gas Business, UK Power Networks, npower, etc in the past. We have the Chief Economist of EY to speak and we will be doing Energy Blind Date!

What opportunities are on offer for people / startups / investors and companies attending?

If you are an energy end user, then you get to come for free. If you want to sell to those types of people, you have to be a sponsor or buy a ticket. We are looking for cool energy solutions to show off in the Energy Blind Date…..there is a cost for doing this.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

Be open-minded, be prepared and make sure you enter into conversations – there are loads of experts and peers there who most likely will have an answer to your problem.
