Éminence Organic Skin Care is celebrating planting 20 million trees via the Forests for the Future initiative. The organic and Biodynamic professional skincare brand plants a tree for every retail product sold through its partnership with Trees for the Future (TREES).
Their initiative has helped to restore over 20,000 acres of land in developing countries and impacted the lives of thousands of families. Communities in developing countries are being given knowledge on agroforestry and sustainable farming techniques and the resources they need to grow a sustainable source of food and income. Farmers plant thousands of trees that protect and bring nutrients back to the soil helping them to grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.
To date, over 4,600 farmers have been trained and almost 4,900 forest gardens created.
Commenting on their partnership with Éminence, Brandy Lellou, Director of Programs at Trees for the Future, says:
“Éminence Organic Skin Care’s support of Trees for the Future means more trees are getting planted and more lives are changing faster than ever before. We congratulate Éminence on the incredible milestone of 20 million trees. Thanks to our partnership, we know a lasting impact is being made for our planet and communities in need.”
