When and where is it on?
Electronomous taking place in the INEC Killarney, May 2nd and May 3rd
How many years has it been going?
This is the third edition of Electronomous and the first year the event has entered into an exciting partnership with Mobility X. We are headlining this edition “Silicon Valley comes to Kerry” – that’s how much we think of our show this year and the line-up we have put together.
What was the inspiration to start it?
Cartell.ie has been working at the cutting edge of Automotive Technology for many years now and we felt there was a need to create an conversation around this new era of Mobility and so we created Electronomous with event Partners INEC. The event was designed to connect the most innovative and exciting companies and innovators within the entire Mobility Space. Our focus is to grow the event as a global event but to keep an Irish context to the event also.
What exciting things can people look forward to
We have collated a World class line up of speakers for this year’s event and as a little cherry on the top, we are delighted to have Hollywood actor and Racing Driver- Michael Fassbender. He will will be at the event participating in one of our fireside chats and also me to explore further and interact with our speakers and their peers. It’s completely unique to have such a world class line up of speakers and delegates from the automotive and tech worlds coming together outside of one of Europe’s major automotive capitals.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
People attending can look forward to networking with some of the very best people in this industry and are provided with a truly unique delegation of conferences attendees which crosses between the worlds of tech and auto. It’s an amazing opportunity to learn and socialise with some of the most prominent mobility voices in the world. We have many venture capitalists and investors in attendance from the US also so it’s a great opportunity for companies in the start-up sector to connect with these people also.
Who will be speaking?
People can listen and interact with a tremendous line-up of speakers including:
Danny Shapiro, Senior Director of Automotive, NVIDIA
Bengt Myhrman – Volvo Car
Xavier Collins, Managing Director UK, Turo
Caroline Hazlehurst, Director of EMEA Operations, Bird
Monika Mikac – QEV Technologies.
Luc Vincent, VP Engineering, Lyft
Maik Stephan, Executive Director, E-Mobility, Volkswagen Group AG.
Stefan Deix, Director of EUCAR, the European Council for Automotive R&D
Robert Hambrick, CEO, AutonomouStuff
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Arrive Wednesday evening if possible. We expect many of our international guests to arrive then so it’s a great opportunity to make some early connections before the event kicks off fully on Thursday am. Look at the line-up of speakers and decide early where you need to be throughout the day.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
People can book tickets by going to https://www.electronomous.
The event will sell out so Book today as we cannot release further tickets.
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
The year the MobilityX weekend which follows on from Electronomous will be an action-packed VIP weekend (3rd-5th May) for speakers and invited VIP guests from the World’s Automotive, Mobility and Tech Industry. The VIP weekend will transport you to the most scenic spots on the West Coast of Ireland and will include activities such as kitesurfing, mountain biking and Stand Up Paddle-boarding.
