E-MIT Solutions, a leading Irish IT consultancy firm, have announced the launch of its new Firewall as a Service which will provide Irish businesses with a cloud-managed unified threat management system and real-time security intelligence to help combat the growing volumes of security breaches in Irish organisations. Customers will be protected from unwanted intrusions and data breaches including targeted security attacks, malware, spyware and viruses.

E-MIT is the first IT company to deliver Dell SonicWALL firewall as a service to the Irish market. Based on initial research and market testing, it is forecasting total service revenues of €550K for its FWaaS in the first three years. This is based on predicted recurring revenues of €125K in 2015, €175K in 2016 and €250K in 2017. E-MIT has launched this new service following its recent investment and expansion in its headquarters in Santry, Dublin.

E-MIT will host and manage a full suite of Dell SonicWALL technologies and applications, which it will provide via secure cloud to customers throughout Ireland. For a fixed monthly fee and no upfront costs, businesses will have their IT infrastructures, applications and devices proactively managed and protected 24×7 from increasingly sophisticated security threats.

Experienced and accredited security consultants based in E-MIT’s managed service centre will provide proactive monitoring of client networks of all sizes and complexities. They will have complete visibility of network traffic and will diagnose, make changes and resolve issues quickly. Regular reporting of all firewall activity is included as part of the service.

DELL SonicWALL engineers will provide an additional layer of support and up-to-date information about the latest global security threats.
