Dublin Tech Week returns, 16th to 20th April, 2018

When and where is it on?

Dublin Tech Week runs from the 16th to 20th of April 2018 with Dublin Tech Summit taking place on the 18th and 19th April 2018.

How many years has it been going?

This is the second year for Dublin Tech Summit but the inaugural Dublin Tech Week.

What was the inspiration to start it?

“We’re incredibly passionate about maximizing Ireland’s potential as the destination for global companies and we believe that with the Dublin Tech Summit & Tech Week, we’re writing the new chapter in Ireland’s story and bringing together the people necessary to make this a success for Ireland.”

What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2018 version?

The 2018 event will see the launch of Music X Tech which will explore the influences technology is having on the music industry. The addition of Dublin Tech Week will also see a series of fringe events taking over Dublin City exploring everything from film, fashion, science and much more. We are also expanding our social and after hours programme which we are really excited to share over the coming months, all of this is on top of amazing speakers, partners and startups who will all participate in the 2018 conference!

Who will be speaking?

We have lots of exciting speakers already confirmed including Jason Zander (Microsoft), Ambarish Mitra (Blippar) and Sofie Lindblom (ideation360) with many more to be announced. You can check out all the speakers for the 2018 event on our website and sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear when we announce new speakers.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

Plan your trip, use our website and resources (conference app, staff, accommodation portal etc.) to know who is speaking where and when!

How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?

The events will sell out fast and our early bird ticket offer will finish at the end of this month so now is the best time to buy! http://dublintechsummit.com/#attend
