It connects film marketing to the box office and is creating a ‘direct-to-consumer future’ for film distributors. Usheru employs four people at its Dublin 7 base, with plans to employ seven more staff within the next 12 months.
The top prize of €5,000 was presented to Catherine Downes, Founder, Operational & Marketing lead of Usheru and they will now go forward to represent Local Enterprise Office Dublin City at the National Enterprise Awards, which celebrates its 20th anniversary on May 24th.
Greg Swift Head of Enterprise & Economic Development with Local Enterprise Office Dublin City said: “Usheru has already become a success story and the judges were particularly impressed by the expertise within the team, the passion and philosophy they apply to their business. Usheru is building a successful and sustainable business while delivering customer service solutions for other businesses – cinemas, festivals and film distributors. They are already active in the Irish and UK markets and are currently exploring additional markets”.
As Local Enterprise Offices celebrate twenty years of the National Enterprise Awards in 2018, LEO Dublin City is proud to be represented by Usheru in this extra special year.”
