Dress for Success to Kickstart International Women’s Day Celebrations with Breakfast Event

Dress for Success Dublin, the charity that provides women with the clothing, skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace, will host a special breakfast event to kickstart its 2016 International Women’s Day campaign tomorrow, Thursday, 3rd March, at 10.45am at the organisation’s premises at 18 Lower Liffey Street, Dublin 1.

International Women’s Day (IWD) falls on 8th March each year. For the past three years, Dress for Success Dublin has celebrated IWD by holding its biggest annual fundraising and clothing collection drive in partnership with workplaces across Dublin.

Tomorrow’s event will be the first in a week-long series of activities taking place in workplaces and individual supporters’ homes.

At the event, Sonya Lennon – designer, tech entrepreneur and founder of Dress for Success Dublin – will give a short address on the work of Dress for Success Dublin, the importance of dressing for success, and insights from her own career. She will also outline full details of the companies supporting the IWD campaign this year, and of the fundraising events taking place over the coming week.

She will be joined by representatives of many of the companies supporting the campaign, including eir, which is the headline sponsor.
