Dr Johnny Ryan named as BSI International Cyber Resilience Exchange speaker

BSI’s global centre of excellence for Cybersecurity and Information Resilience has named Dr Johnny Ryan as a speaker at the BSI International Cyber Resilience Exchange. The Exchange takes place on 26 March 2019 at The Convention Centre Dublin.

Dr Johnny Ryan is the Chief Policy and Industry Relations Officer at Brave, the privacy web browser and is the author of ‘A History of the Internet and the Digital Future’. He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s expert network on media, entertainment, and information and has worked as a Senior Researcher at the Institute of International & European Affairs (IIEA). At the Exchange, he will deliver a keynote on The State of Privacy and Data Protection with a focus on the digital marketing landscape, personal data, consent, and GDPR post Brexit.

The inaugural BSI International Cyber Resilience Exchange is an approved International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) event and attendees can earn up to eight Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours.
