The ubiquitous marketing trope that “content is king” should really be changed to “video content is king”!

Not only will video content account for 80% of searches by 2019 (next year!), but just adding a video to an email marketing campaign can increase click through rates by 200%.

So incorporating video content into your marketing strategy is a smart move.

However, not all video is created equal.

Create high quality videos to showcase your brand in the best light

Remi Daniel, director of DVTV, a 100% Irish owned video production company, works closely with organisations of all sizes to create video content that realises their goals and KPIs.

“As technology has evolved, it’s become easier for people to create their own videos. This is great news as it evens the playing field for small businesses and consultants who don’t have the same budgets as large corporates,” says Remi.

The challenge arises when it comes to creating high quality videos that will resonate with your audience and inspire them to take action.

“We might not all be branding experts, but we make quick observations when we’re looking to purchase a service or product. We’re savvy customers,” explains Remi.

“A poorly created video, no matter how well intentioned, is going to say things about you and your brand in the minds of your potential customers that may not be what you intended,” continues Remi.

Improve your video skills

At the same time, Remi concedes that not all businesses or organisations require the type of video production that DVTV provides.

“We’re proud of the work we do for our clients, and we see our success as intimately tied up with their success.” Remi says.

“However, we also acknowledge that if business owners or marketing executives understand the essentials of video content creation, effective videos can be created by smartphones and laptops. That’s where our training course comes in.”

DVTV is launching their first video editing training course to empower business owners, marketing managers, event organisers and professionals to develop their own high performing videos.

Participants will create and edit their own videos during the interactive training course and learn the following skills:
