The Disney+ app will give NOW TV customers the option to watch a host of new shows including The Mandalorian, High School Musical; The Musical: The Series; The World According to Jeff Goldblum and more alongside favourites like The Lion King and Frozen.

Speaking about the update, Mick Forry, Head of NOW TV Ireland, said: “With Disney+ launching on the NOW TV Smart Stick, the range of fantastic content continues to grow. Our customers now have even more choice, reducing the need to continuously change TV inputs to find what they want to watch.

Disney+ features a host of firm family favourites as well as some exclusive new programming and sits perfectly alongside NOW TV’s range of Sky originals, award-winning box sets, blockbuster movies and the kid’s favourite shows.”

NOW TV customers can now download the app from the device App Store and sign into their Disney+ account to start watching. The NOW TV Smart Stick can be purchased at all good electricals, grocers, including SuperValu & Tesco, as well as directly on nowtv.com/ie.

Disney+ joins the NOW TV App Store alongside a range of new additions, including the recently launched Roku Channel. Other apps available include Netflix, Vevo, All 4, RTE Player, Virgin Media Player, YouTube and more.

NOW TV customers will need to purchase Disney+ directly through Disney then sign into their account through the Disney+ app on NOW TV devices

The Disney+ subscription will not be included in any NOW TV Passes, customers will be billed directly by Disney for their Disney+ subscription
