Digital Dún Laoghaire is an initiative of the Dún Laoghaire Business Improvement District. It is supported by key stakeholders in the town and was launched by Minister of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor on the 30th September 2016.

Its goal is to build a strong cluster of digital companies in Dún Laoghaire for the dual purposes of innovation and urban regeneration. It is a local project which has national significance because this blueprint will be shared with towns across the country as it progresses.

Dún Laoghaire is a great place to do business. It is home to more than 60 companies in the Digital Space, including a number of multinational players and fast growing newcomers. Only a 10 minute DART journey away from Grand Canal Dock and its global giants, Dún Laoghaire has a lot to offer.

To highlight the benefits of setting up a business in Dún Laoghaire and the benefits of locating there, a showcase event is being held on Friday the 2 December in the Studio at the DLR Lexicon Library in Dún Laoghaire.

The event will feature:

The panel will discuss the secrets to scaling from Dún Laoghaire with representatives from successful local digital/tech companies including Digital Marketing Institute, Rockall Technologies, Big Red Cloud and AIB.
