When and where is it on?

 Digital DNA 2018 powered by PwC takes place in St George’s Market, Belfast on 19-20 June
How many years has it been going?
This will be the sixth year of our flagship business and technology event. It started in 2013 in Belfast’s Titanic Belfast with around 100 delegates and has grown exponentially since then!
What was the inspiration to start it?
 As a topic of discussion over drinks in a local Belfast bar, it became clear that there was a need for businesses to overcome the challenges and realise the opportunities digital technology presents. Although technology helps us be more efficient in the workplace, it can’t replace the fundamental human interaction and our event helps bring businesses together to learn and engage with each other in a setting built for collaboration.
What’s on offer for delegates across the two days?
Digital DNA has always offered an exciting lineup of keynote speakers, studio sessions, interactive workshops and panel discussions. We’re ramping it up in 2018 bringing some big names to our new keynote stage alongside our interactive workshops that go in depth on the biggest trends of the year in technology. The iconic St George’s Market will also be filled with over 150 exhibitors offering products and services to help businesses become more efficient and help them grow.
As we’re in Belfast City Centre, our social programme for the evenings will bring the vibrant nightlife of Belfast to the fore in some globally recognised watering holes giving delegates the opportunity to network and do business outside of the boardroom in the place where the idea of Digital DNA was created.

Who will be speaking?

Among the list of confirmed speakers so far is Leo Johnson, Disruption lead at PwC and co-presenter of BBC Radio 4’s ?Future Proofing. It explores the impact of technology on business and society and he’s also Boris Johnson’s brother, which means you’ll get some personality! Joanna? Jarjue, ?BBC?Apprentice 2017? finalist and one of a few candidates to be in the winning team for her duration in the competition will deliver her first keynote in Northern Ireland, sharing insights from her career in e-commerce and marketing as an ex-Google trainer.

Kieran Flanagan, Vice President of Marketing? at? HubSpot, will travel to Belfast to give a keynote exploring the relationship between sales and ?marketing in tech and Søren? Rode Andreasen, Chief Digital Officer at ?Danske Bank, will discuss the next move for banks as Open Banking and digital become the differentiators between high street?names.

 What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Make the most of attending by getting as much information as you can via the website, planning out your day with the schedule across both days and above all, talk to other delegates! Digital DNA is based on the premise of the fundamental face-to-face human interaction. This is what helps you learn, grow and do business differently. We’ll also be offering a brand new event app closer to the event with many options to chat and network with the full delegate list. So book your pass early and plan ahead!

Passes for Digital DNA are on sale via www.digitaldna.tech with Early Release passes selling fast. Prices go up every few weeks so buy early to get the best deal, but do it before the end of May!
