Dell to roll out New Platform And Storage Solution for 123.ie

Dell today announced that it has won a contract from the insurance provider 123.ie. In partnership with the 123.ie team, Dell will work to develop and implement a new platform for the business. Dell will also deploy a server and storage platform upgrade. Secured as part of a competitive tender process, the new infrastructure will aid 123.ie in meeting the demands of its growing customer base.

Commenting on the contract, Liam Halpin, General Manager, Dell Ireland said: “Having outgrown their previous solution, 123.ie required a completely new platform that will facilitate the expansion of the company in the future and will address the needs of the customer as a top priority. A close partnership between Dell and 123.ie will result in the development of a tailor-made platform that meets the requirements of the business while also minimising the disruption to business operations during the upgrade process. Dell will also be supplying 123.ie with a server and storage platform upgrade as part of the development of the new platform. We view this contract as part of a valued continuing relationship with 123.ie as it continues to grow its share of the insurance market into the future.

We have worked with Dell since 123.ie was founded and our relationship has deepened over the years. We look forward to working with them on the design and implementation of our new platform, which will give us greater scope to meet our customers’ needs in an efficient and seamless manner.
