Deezer launches new ‘Radio By Deezer’ app

Listening to the radio is now easier with the launch of the new ‘Radio By Deezer’ app. The subscription-free app created by streaming service Deezer provides access to 30,000 stations worldwide across music, live sports, news and talk – all without additional adverts.

Radio fans can download the Android app for free to choose from a wide selection of stations, browse global stations or find stations according to their current location.

Once tuned into a station of choice, users can ‘like’ any song they hear from the radio and add to their ‘Favourite Tracks’ library within ‘Radio By Deezer’. To listen to the tracks again, the app automatically adds the ‘liked’ songs to the Deezer music streaming service and can be played again within ‘My Music’ on the Deezer app.

Olivier Miljeu, Product Manager of Radio By Deezer, commented: “Radio fans deserve an experience tailored to their exact needs. Our easy to use app provides fast access to their favourite stations, all with an undisturbed, ad-free, listening experience. Gone are the days of thinking it’s too late to get the song you just heard on the radio, and now with just a quick tap you can add it straight to your library!”

‘Radio By Deezer’ is currently available for Android only, with an iOS version due soon. It is available from today to download for free without additional adverts.
