When and where is it on?
The Deconstruction of the DSAR using Automation and AI is legal and technical discussion on the use of AI in Privacy, brought to you by Beacon AI and Broadlake taking place 5.30pm – 8pm, Thursday 28 November, Tangent at Trinity College Dublin.
How many years has it been going?
This is the first of many privacy Beacon AI are running. Dublin is the first stop, we will have something in Cork in the New Year and by 2021 we will have events in the UK, USA and France to reflect our customer base.
What was the inspiration to start it?
While over at the Web Summit our team realised that they have incredible thought leaders in their address books covering Global Privacy, AI, Machine Learning, Data Ethics and we should get these people in a room to share their enthusiasm about what’s developing in the tech world around global privacy. We decided to strike with our first event before Christmas and start building our profile in the privacy community.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
The DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) is the central topic of the evening. Now that the GDPR hype has died off the reality is that a DSAR is like a stick of dynamite for an organisation which isn’t well versed in servicing one! On the night, expect a deep dive into how an organisation would manage a DSAR followed by two panels discussing the intricacies from a legal and afterwards, a technical standpoint. There is also news from EU regulation developments which will also be discussed.
AI and Automation, Thursday 28 November
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
A greater understanding of a key GDPR and Global Privacy concern as well as insights on best practise for your organisation. Cutting edge information on what’s coming up in EU privacy regulations. And a great networking event to meet some of the countries most respected thought leaders and academics.
