Interview with Dan Weinberger from Morpheus Network.
1 min pitch for what you are doing now?
We’re in the process of multiple pilots for automating and optimizing various supply chains. The automated functionalities include various triggers (QR, RFID, Geofences, temperature triggers), generating compliance documentation as well as settlements.
We are automating and optimizing supply chains leveraging emerging technologies as well as legacy systems. Our approach is as middleware connecting the disjointed technologies in supply chain (from legacy ERPs and payments, to cutting-edge blockchain, IoT and machine learning techs).
How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?
The last year was extremely busy of course and talking to clients about pain points and solutions worked very well. Coming from the business world, I always would like development to move faster but we have made great advances in the past year so kudos to our development team.
What are your plans for the future?
We will continue to implement and develop then implement further for overlapping, similar business structures and supply chains.
What will you be talking about at this event?
My favourite things to discuss: emerging technologies and how they work so well together. Specifically, blockchain/DLT, IoT and AI.
What inspired you to attend it?
Cold Chain events bring amazing corporates looking to optimize their supply chains. Our middleware connecting IoT to Blockchain and leveraging machine learning to further optimize is perfectly suited to solve many of the bottlenecks and pain points in a supply chain but even more specifically, a cold-chain.
Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?
Thanks to our eminent advisors like Simon Cocking, we have a healthy exchange of information. Besides, the top crypto publications like CoinTelegraph and Newsbtc provide valuable insights. Not to forget, we also enjoy the support of our 10,000 members who don’t shy away from sharing key developments and keep the conversation going throughout the day.
As for influencers, I follow DataDash and Blockchain Brad, who are both unbiased and honest and have been supportive of the project.
