Deal of the Day: 32GB OTG Waterproof USB Drive Storage for Android

If you are in the market for a new USB flash drive and you have an Android device, this ones a no-brainer. Even if you are not after a new flash drive but have an Android device that has limited or non-expandable user storage, the 32GB PQI Connect 302 offers a great option for expanding that storage via the micro USB connection on your device.

The unique feature of this flash drive is that is houses a full size USB 3.0 connector on one side and a micro USB connector on the other. Sandwiched in between is 32GB of storage. What that means is you can transfer files from your computer to the flash drive and then connect it to your phone via the micro USB connector and mount the drive as external storage.
USB OTG (On The Go) is the protocol that allows a device, such as a smartphone, to act as a USB host. Not every Android phone or tablet supports USB OTG but the vast majority of newer ones do, so it is still worth checking the specs page for your device before purchasing.
There is also a free file manager App from PQI available in the Play Store to help you work with the drive once it’s attached to your device.

The capsule shape of the device with screwed on covers also makes the it waterproof, which is a nice additional feature. The device is reduced to €33.21 at the moment.
