DCs for Bees is an action oriented initiative of Host in Ireland tasked with creating pollinator-friendly activity to benefit Ireland’s biodiversity and drive real action that can help to reduce, stall or even reverse the extinction of our bees.

To celebrate the public launch of the ‘DCs for Bees Pollinator Plan’, we are bringing together an expert panel to talk about why it’s critical for business and biodiversity to align, we’ll look at what some of our partners are doing in this area and we’ll share with you some suggestions and tips on what you can do to help biodiversity in your own garden or workplace.

Joining us on the day will be:

Una Fitzpatrick – Co-founder and Project Manager of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan

Monica Alvarez – Garden Designer and Tutor of Horticulture at Dundrum College of Further Education

Rebecca Wall Morris – Regional Marketing Director – Europe, Cyrus One

Kevin Fitzpatrick – Landscape Architecture & Design Tutor at UCD, School of Architecture and Landscape

The webinar will be moderated by Michelle Wallace, Head of Operations & Community, Host in Ireland.

The DCs for Bees Pollinator Plan, backed by the National Biodiversity Data Centre, is a shared plan of action by Host In Ireland, its 40 partners from the data centre industry and the wider ICT community. The plan focuses on actions that any business in the data industry can take, from the smallest supplier to the largest data landowners. It includes a toolkit of 42 pollinator-friendly actions to benefit Ireland’s biodiversity.
