Damovo first in the world to achieve Mitel Platinum Integrator Partner status

Damovo, a leading provider of enterprise communications solutions and services, today announces it is the first company in the world to be awarded the Mitel Platinum Integrator Partner status. Damovo has achieved this elevated partnership for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific, and it sets the company apart in the region as the only service provider certified to deliver and support Mitel’s complete technology portfolio across multiple countries.

Mitel is one of the world’s fastest-growing cloud communications providers, powering more than two billion business connections and 60 million end-users every day. It also has over 2,500 regional partners throughout the world. Damovo is the first partner to achieve the Mitel Platinum Integrator Partner status. The platinum partnership is the highest level of accreditation that Mitel can offer, and distinguishes elite partners who represent the highest standards for Mitel’s solutions.

To achieve the certification, more than 200 Damovo sales, pre-sales and technical staff undertook intensive training and examinations across all of Mitel’s technology areas. This includes voice, cloud, mobility, contact centre, and unified communications and collaboration.

The Platinum Integrator Partner Status means that Damovo can offer customers throughout EMEA and Asia Pacific a completely seamless and standardised service for all Mitel-based solutions, regardless of which country they are located in. As part of a year-long accreditation process Damovo also developed ‘Centres of Excellence’ across its European business to design, implement and support each of Mitel’s solutions.

2015 was the most successful year in the history of the Damovo Mitel partnership, with Damovo increasing revenues in its Mitel business by 13%, including a significant number of new customer acquisitions and growth from existing customers. Double digit growth is expected again in 2016 as a result of its enhanced partner status and a strong sales pipeline.

Graham Bevington, EVP and President of Mitel’s Enterprise Division, said: “We’re delighted that Damovo has achieved such an elevated status with Mitel. They have demonstrated the highest levels of dedication, commitment and in-depth knowledge for our solutions portfolio, as well as a deep understanding of the evolving needs of enterprise and multinational businesses.

“In a world that is gravitating more and more towards cloud and mobile, enterprise organisations demand a seamless service experience everywhere and at all times. As a Platinum Integrator, Damovo is trained, certified and primed to deliver fully on this expectation.

“Mitel is a leader in real-time business, cloud and mobile communications and currently one of the world’s fastest growing cloud communications provider. Having first-class partners like Damovo is a pre-requisite to sustained growth.”

Glen Williams, CEO, Damovo said: “Becoming the world’s first Mitel Platinum Integrator Partner is a fantastic achievement for everyone at Damovo. It is an important milestone for us on our journey to becoming one of the largest unified communications providers in Europe.

“Oakley Capital’s significant investment in early 2015 gave Damovo the platform and resources to commit to growth-focused activities like this certification process with Mitel and we’re thrilled to be awarded this accolade. It gives us further competitive advantage in Europe as we can provide multinational businesses with even higher levels of expertise and service in the communications arena.”
