Yuri Parsamov talks to us about the upcoming Cryptospace conference in Moscow, Russia. Read on to know what to expect from it this December.

When and where is it on?
The conference is planned for December 8-9, 2017 in Moscow. The venue is Skolkovo – the famous business school and fintech accelerator.
How many years has it been going?
This is the first time we are organising it. By ‘we’ I mean, the KICKICO team. However we clearly do not do this event for the promotional reasons. We had our own ICO 2 months ago and we are not planning to do any special promotions of any ICOs with this event. Moreover ‘KICKICO’ will be just marked as a partner and an organiser, not as a host. And well, if the event is successful, we are clearly planning to do it next year.
What was the inspiration to start it?
The Russian crypto-community is quite active at the moment, though so far there is no 100% clear position from the regulator on the topic and it might go either according to the positive ‘Japanese’ or negative ‘Chinese’ scenario. That’s why:
– We want to deliver the concept of crypto and blockchain to the Russian government and enterprises, by showing them the scale of it from a global perspective. That’s why we have participants from local authorities, regulators and business.
– We want the Russian crypto & blockchain community to become less ‘local’ and to get them acquainted with the representatives of other (both Asian and Western) markets.
What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2017 version?
The dialogue between the representatives of the crypto-community and fiat world (government, business). We have even invite some representatives of the regulator who’s clearly against crypto and we will try to involve them in dialogue thru panel discussions.
– Special section on crypto trading and crypto exchanges. This is the area which is not often covered in conferences like this.
– Special venue (Skolkovo) and the Moscow bar-hopping party.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
Depends on who’s attending and for what reason.
For representatives of enterprises & government considering blockchain implementation -> to choose among best blockchain solutions;
Crypto traders and ones interested -> to learn about trading strategies and trends within the industry;
Companies, planning ICOs -> learn more about the perspective, whether it makes sense to do it, find partners and pitch;
Local authors and journalist -> get exclusive materials and interviews.
Who will be speaking?
Representatives of top blockchains (NEM, Ethereum, Hyperledger, Exonum), top crypto exchanges, Russian government and enterprises. We have a preliminary confirmation from Cointelegraph editor-in-chief, Cyril, as well as we are looking forward to getting the representatives of Coindesk, Bitcoin Magazine, Forbes, etc.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Participate in panel discussions. Get acquainted with the representatives of the Fiat industries – they are the next ones to enter the market.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
The tickets (as well as the sponsor packages) will be on sale from Nov 1st, 2017, after we finalise the speakers list. So far we have planned for around 1,000 people.
