The Rise of Cryptocurrencies and the importance of Blockchain with Hermann Djoumessi

With Hermann Djoumessi Social Media Consultant, ICO – Blockchain & tech evangelist

What is your background briefly?

I am a social media consultant. I follow the principles of the Digital Inception: A set of digital processes enabling the fast-spread of a message or a concept in order to impact ‘reality’ and measure it via analytics. At the beginning was the blog.

Here’s a link for more info: https://www.linkedin.com/in/hermanncm/

I am also:

–  Hootsuite certified

–  Google analytics certified

– Blockchain fundamentals certified.

– Bloomberg (BMC) certified (Fintech) * Facebook ads strategist

And since January 2019, a Facebook ambassador made in Dublin https://www.admpawards.biz/index.php/2019/01/29/facebook-gather2019-victory-in-dublin/

I run with a team, the Afrotech prime social media feed on Fintech & startup, doubling-up as a virtual incubator, ADMP for AfriK+Digital Market-Place with more than 40000 members on various social media platforms (From Facebook to Instagram, to Twitter, etc..)

The inception started 2 years ago, in 2017. I am also an Award-Winning Blogger, with several awards won in the United States, where we have a huge audience, with 10000 monthly active users. Coders, developers, VC, and entrepreneurs represent the core of our community. We’ve also supported, and sponsored various crypto-events, conferences startups competitions, on the afro-continent, but also in Europe.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

Extremely logical! Check out my focus here: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:ugcPost:6532289037905076224/

I’m also preparing my third book on Cryptos! The title is ‘Crypto Wars’. In 2017, during the ‘Hottest’ crypto-summer of all time, decisions were taken that would impact the crypto world, forever for good and for bad. We will explore the Crazy stories, myths, origins legends and lies behind the rise of crypto and mostly the lines of frictions, conflicts and ultimately wars, inside and outside the crypto-community: Games of Thrones has nothing on the Crypto
storyline, trust me!

I am still looking for a publisher, It is part of the Satoshist ethos, anyway: For those of you who read the Satoshi Manifesto, the true ‘Da Vinci Code’ of the 21st Century… (The ‘Code’ is in the ‘Manifesto, the ‘Manifesto is inside the Code’) which starts with ” A purely peer to peer version of electronic cash’ and lays down the 21st century ethos of the ‘ethical technologist’, you know… the ‘Do-it-Your-self’ kind-of-thing…!

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

Increasing knowledge about the Blockchain technology
in every aspect of our (future) lives, through business. And that is not just an Afro-Centric goal for us. We operate mostly from Europe and linking up with the continent, but also in the US and Asia, too: As we found out that technology adoption is still way too low throughout the world! We’ve focused lately on coders and developers too, as they will be the backbone of any successful #Blockweb inception. We want more tech ! and more peoples able to adapt to it, on general principle!

Why did you get involved with Zipcoin?

I am a firm believer in cryptocurrencies, which will slowly but surely replace paper-based and FIAT currencies. They are ‘Obsolete’, ‘worthless’ ‘Over-rated’ ‘Over-inflated’ and with 2D dimension, that actually restricts most exchanges.

Zipcoin and digital currencies and means of payments will travel and connect at the ‘speed of light’ and using 3D, 4D, 5D super-powers to their trading-arsenal if you want. Zipcx, on top of that, has added ethics to its approach as it is alsohelping securing remittance towards the poorest part of the world (Africa for a start) and that is something of interest to me: Yeah…let’s go ‘Silicon Valley’, (even if sometimes it is criticized…) on that one or ‘Blue sky thinking’ …if you want !!

Why do you think it is such a powerful idea?

Changing the world? “As far as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to support others…the weak…the ‘Uncool’…” and operate at the cutting edge of technology. Beyond that … real ‘Freedom’ only starts, once you have a say in the Ecosystem around you. But I also look at it from an entrepreneurial standpoint: There is much more real energy and focus there than in the so-called ‘CharityBusiness’

It’s not a dig, but when something has failed for centuries, it’s time to look for other types of energies: Business, entrepreneurship, ‘Can do attitude’fit more my character as an “Economic Crypto-Warrior” (Techno-Evangelist), if you want…I do work a lot with incubators and accelerators, mostly in Europe where I live and whenever I have the opportunity, in Africa.
