Cork City Bus Service App

At last those of us that live beyond The Pale but more importantly in The Peoples Republic of Cork have an app that allows users get realtime bus times! Once downloaded from the App Store, Cork Bus lets you add any stops serviced by the City Bus service, once added the next bus times are refreshed every 30 seconds. I can testify to the accuracy as I have used this app in the last few days and the times are very precise 🙂

However as good as this app is I do have one major gripe, when you click ‘add stop’ the map zooms to Patricks Street,

even if you are miles away at a different bus stop, so unless you actually know where you are it can be hard to find the bus stop you are waiting at. Not much use to a visitor/tourist to the Real Capital. I would still recommend this app though 🙂
