When is it on?
12-13 October
How many years has it been going?
This is going to be the 4th edition of Codemotion Berlin, which is a partner conference to Codemotion Rome that first took place in 2011.
What was the inspiration to start it?
Codemotion has always put value on tech communities and has provided a platform for international developers in order to share their enthusiasm about all facets of coding.
What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2017 version?
We are especially proud of our Community Stage that we are putting together for the second time (schedule should be published in the end of August). In addition to the regular session program, we are offering communities a separate community stage that will feature various topics around community life. Last year, it turned out to be very successful. To get an idea of the talks, please take a look at the right-hand column of our schedule last year here.
What opportunities are on offer for people / startups / investors and companies attending?
Codemotion is the biggest tech conference in Italy and one of the most important in Europe with an international network of 350k+ developers. Codemotion is open to all coding languages and technologies and is focused on bringing together code enthusiasts who like to think outside of the box and understand the intersections of technology and programming. It offers a unique opportunity to all visitors, partners and sponsors to gather new ideas and energy and gives a chance to network with fellow visitors who are passionate about coding.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
We will have four separate stages and satellite events around Codemotion, so our advice to every participant would be to download our app (link will appear on the web site after announcing the full schedule) and put your personal schedule together before attending!
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
You can book tickets on our website. Kulturbrauerei is quite a spacious location that can house up to 1000 visitors.
