What was the inspiration to start it?
The cloud as we know it is going through a massive transformation and is emerging as a data-centric, intelligent platform ready to deal with the next generation of applications and workloads. With the volumes of data being generated and needing to be analysed, intelligent cloud based machine learning (ML) solutions are now required to interpret and analyse the large scale data sets. Given that the explosion is data volumes is expected to continue this will undoubtedly be one of the most disruptive technologies of this decade.
What exciting things can people look forward to for the 2017 version?
Attendees will discover how to overcome the challenges of implementing a Cloud First Machine Learning strategy through new services and architecture.
What opportunities are on offer for people / startups / investors and companies attending?
Singlepoint and its partners Avora and Zalando will demonstrate how decisions at speed can give a competitive advantage while getting real value from data and they will showcase lessons learned from adopting Machine Learning at an enterprise scale.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Attendees will hear Brian Seery, Technical Consulting Director of Singlepoint addressing common challenges in adopting Machine Learning with cloud services and he will speak about solving typical problems that may arise. Ricky Thomas, CEO of Avora will speak about Machine Learning at Scale while Graham O’Sullivan, Head of Data Delivery at Zalando will advise on Implementing Cloud First Machine Learning.
