Chargify, the world’s leading Billing and Subscription Management Solution for B2B SaaS companies has announced the opening of its new EMEA headquarters based in Dublin.
Chargify has opened the EMEA headquarters as part of an international expansion strategy developed to better serve its expanding customer base and respond to new opportunities and strategic partnerships in the region.
Currently employing 130 people in its San Antonio, Texas headquarters, Chargify’s EMEA headquarters in Dublin will see the initial hiring of 30 employees by the end of 2022, with immediate plans to hire 10 employees by the end of 2020 in a variety of engineering, product, business development and customer success roles.
Speaking on the expansion of Chargify and the decision to move into the EMEA region, Chargify CEO Paul Lynch stated, “As a Dubliner, I am proud to see our expansion across EMEA take shape from Ireland. It is the best place to hire and expand from if you want to service the world’s leading companies and we look forward to hiring from the expansive talent pool available to us in Ireland. Dynamic Billing at this level has become an integral part of any company’s relationships with their customers.”
Chargify plans to use the Dublin location to have a greater footprint across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Already a strong player in the EMEA region with up to 30% of customers based there, the new Dublin base will allow Chargify to provide more localised service to its growing customer base and is further proof of a new wave of US scale-ups choosing Dublin as their EMEA base as they look to further their growth into the region.
Chargify, who managed over $2.9 billion of billing for their customers in 2019, had a record-setting 2020 second quarter including a 250% increase in their growth rate as well as a 181% increase in demand for their product.
In 2019, Chargify also experienced significant, double-digit revenue growth and more than doubled the size of its team.
Earlier this year, Chargify acquired Keen to develop the ‘Events-Based Billing’ solution as part of their portfolio. Events-Based Billing allows B2B SaaS companies to link the value of your product to the invoice your customer receives while using previously unused data to allow them to understand how their products and services are being consumed and the resulting revenue impact, in real-time. This level of insight allows B2B SaaS companies to accurately track and manage their variable revenue levels at any given time without waiting until the end of the month.
Product Price Points, Chargify’s newest pricing tool, allows users of the platform to associate different prices and settings for any product within the user’s product catalogue. Chargify has seen over 90% of all customers switch to the Product Price Points model, giving customers the freedom to choose, change, and customise their pricing.
