Chainges conference, Amsterdam, 4-5 May 2018

We spoke with Matthias Sektas event organiser to find out more about the event.

Chainges conference is hosted in Amsterdam (4-5 May 2018) under a roof at the Kromhouthal – a popular, industrial venue in the heart of the capital of Netherlands. We have turned event organizing process upside down and went by asking the community first what they want by our survey which you can find at chainges.co

After visiting a lot of meetups, I saw a big disparity between Fin-tech and tech conferences and the blockchain ones. That’s how the idea of a world-class industry conference was born. Our main goal is to create a onference which will provide attendees with useful and practical knowledge. Thats why we are creating 2 workshop rooms. At our conference, there will be an exhibition area. There will be 2 big stages – Technology & Economy, 1 stage – Pitch Competition,  2 workshop rooms, Media village, Speaker Longue, Partner Longue, Networking/Chillout zone. You will find also a lot of side events like: Afterparty, Boatparty, Liberation Day entertainment, Speaker & Partner Dinner.

So far we have confirmed Enrique Mellero (ex COO HSBC Bank), Nick Ayton (Chainstarter), Julian Hosp (TenX) and a few more people.

At 1 of December on our new website there will be more speakers announced.

We are starting to sell our conference ticket on 1 of December. We don’t want to milk the community. We want to make this event as accessible as it possible that’s why our tickets cost only 300/200 euro for attendees.
